Selling into new display network pays off

PNNA launched the Pacific Northwest Display Ad program on Nov. 1, 2009, to mitigate participating newspaper dues in these tough economic times. The first four weeks PNNA sent out 2x2 house ads soliciting the business of business owners and training schools in the new network. PNNA also emailed sales information for newspapers to start selling into the network.

We are pleased to report that the week of Nov. 30, PNNA sent out three paid 2x2 ads. The "Dickens 2009 Home Tour" ad was received directly by PNNA, and the other two 2x2 display ads were for the Maniilaq Association in Alaska sold by Leesa Little, employment sales specialist at the Anchorage Daily News. The Anchorage Daily News made $300 in commission on those two ads.

If the Anchorage Daily News can do it, so can you! Here's an opportunity for your newspaper to create a stream of revenue and mitigate its dues at the same time by selling the Pacific Northwest 2x2 Display Network.
